Good Hookah bar. Decent prices, nice atmosphere, and a good time. Good staff also for the most part, except for SAFE, one of the main workers, got a little weird and a little freaky one time. Don't know if we'll go back because of that. Otherwise, if you don't get on a friendly level with the staff I guess, and mind your business while they mind theirs, I guess it will be a good time.

Love this place. first time i went it was a little crowded but it was late on a Saturday night, which is understandable. Went again the other night, the place was almost empty. the hookah was awesome, and the service was great.

This place is wonderful!!! The first time I went it beat out all other hookah bar experiences! Homey interior, friendly and personable staff, smooth and various hookah flavors! I definitely recommend going here!

Shi Chai is the best hookah place there is, the owners and works are so down to earth, and even one of the owners came over and made small talk with us, we felt as if we all knew eachother, he related to us. Also the service is good, and i like how the hookah place is set up; it gives it more of a modern feel like your at home or something theres even a VIP area which is beyond cool. all in all i give it 11 out of 10 starts (:

Is 2sweet even open any more? Every time I try to go its never open and if i call the phone is never answered dose anyone know what up with the place??

I honestly enjoy this place. The hookah's good, the food's good, I've always had fun when I've been there. I enjoy 2Sweet as well though. I think they're both just different environments. The hookah's much better at Shi Chai, but the seating is much better at 2Sweet. It just depends what kind of mood the people you're with are in.

i dissagree with all of u who say this place sucks. the service was great and so was the hooka. and safe is the shit.

I agree, avoid Shi Chai. While the Hookah is high quality, and the service is okay, it just doesn't feel right being there. We were rushed from when we walked in the door, and the server shook the tip jar at us when we paid. I just felt unwelcome, and don't recommend this place. I would pick 2Sweet over this place anytime.

I really enjoy Shi Chai, not only is it cheap its also a calm relaxing atmosphere. The employees are very nice and the interior is nice and clean. Also they have a good selection of flavors. An added benefit is that they're open late (2:00-3:00 A.M.) always a plus.

This place SUCKS. The atmosphere is seedy and shoddy, the service is lackluster at best, and the owner is a sleazy, self-righteous dirtbag with total attitude.

I even went back a second time after a horrible first time to give it a chance, and it was just as horrible. Then, my friends all went and dragged me along, and that was strike three. I'd recommend Casablanca or 2 Sweet; don't bother with this dive.

This place is so welcome to people. Everyone is nice. They live to serve you the finest shishas in milwaukee. As an Israel, I know good hookah and they got it here at shi chai. I can really chill out here and the owner takes good care of everybody. My new favorite hang out. Way to go Amir.

The hours are awesome for anyone who wants to smoke/eat late. The atmosphere could be improved but I have heard rumors that he owns the whole building and is planning renovations. The owner has been a bit surly with me on more than 1 occasion which I don't care for. But the service was fine. Overall I still prefer 2 Sweet, but this place isn't bad

I had never hookahed before and I loved the atmosphere, very comfortable, staff was nice, prices were cheap, and unlike casablanca, didn't turn you away after midnight if you weren't 21. Even my friends who had hookahed before loved the place. I'm going back again as soon as I move back to milwaukee this weekend for school :)

their lentil soup is hands down the best in the greater milwaukee area, and the chicken buryani is also phenomenal.

little understaffed but completely worth checking out.

The worst ever don't recommend anyone to go there. Real cold and filthy

This is the most filthy place I have ever been in. I went there a couple times and he doesn't have heat in there it was colder inside than outside. Also the service there was real bad. The owner had an attitude.

Awesome place. Great hookah flavors, and only $7 per hookah. Food is good and decent price. Also they got live Arabic music on sat & sun.

Avoid this hookah bar. Although the atmosphere and clientel are decent, $16 a hookah and $1 for extra coal is too much. Do not ask for plastic mouth pieces, I was given used ones, and the water in the rotating hookahs is never changed. In my opinion Casablanca and Shi Chai are much better choices.
