amazing place to hang out, relax, and meet some really cool people. very large selection of shisha and very well prepared hookahs. coal management is excellent and everyone that goes there is very friendly. can get a little crowded on the weekends, but that will never stop me from going to bliss on a friday night. great place to go, i highly recommend going if you get the chance. best hookah bar i have ever been to. 5 stars.

This is a great place to chill and have a great smoke. Last time I was in I think there were about 64 flavors (despite what the website says, which isn't updated). No quicklights used here so you don't get charred chemical flavors like at other places.You are re-coaled until you are finished, which usually means you can go for 2 hrs for most shishas (though Tangiers brand shishas last much longer). The beer selection is great too; only quality beers are served, and at good prices. For the best experience, go there early (before 8pm) so that you can beat the crowds since it it a smaller place; go before 7pm and you will get $2 off your hookah for the "earlybird special."

I agree with Kendall almost completely, though they do not charge for water unless you buy bottles of it. As for the Nicole person, you really cannot blab about getting somewhere at 4AM!!!!!! and expect them to be there when their hours are posted. Also, people do get in late...learn to be patient. Anyways, this place is the best place in Chapel Hill and as long as you don't get there at open/closing... you will not have any issues.

This place BLOWS!! After looking at the reviews on the site for Aladdin's vs. Hookah Bliss my boyfriend and I decided to drive down from Greensboro to Chapel Hill to check the place out. After driving around for 15 minutes looking for a parking place we finally found one three blocks down. After walking all the way to the bar we found the place closed at 4pm!! The sign on the door said they would re-open at 3pm but no one was there. The website for this place says it opens at 3pm and the myspace says it opens at 2pm. Obviously it doesn't! What a waist of three hours!!

Great place to Chill drink and smoke hookah. The quality of the Tobacco is great and the hookahs hit easy. I have been to 8 Hookah bars and this is the best. Adam who owns the bar made sure the little details were taken care of right down to the natural coals that he uses. Most bars use quick lights and cheap Shish that leaves a bad after taste. He has been very busy on weekends and has taken on more staff to insure the quality of his bar and like the last post mentioned he is there every day. In response to the first post there is no charge for water if you are there to smoke. On weekends he only has a little space and 10 people sitting not smoking or drinking beer is bad for paying the Bills. I have been a regular at the bar since shortly after it opened. I have just picked up working on Friday nights to be in training for the new location that will be built in Raleigh Across From NC STATE. It will be a 4000 square foot bar with beer in taps. The whole focus is a Chill place for 18 and up.

One other thing I forgot to mention, the prices are VERY reasonable....8 bucks will give ya enough tabacoo for an hours smoke w/ 4 ppl goin at it the entire time. Only thing I found a lil odd was the fact that ya get charged a dollar or two for tap water, i cant remember how much it was exactly.

My friends and I picked Hookah Bliss because a friend had suggested it earlier that evening as a “chill” place where we could all go relax and have some good conversation time. The owner’s name is Adam and he is top tier 100% about customer satisfaction. This guy was “DA BOMB”, Adam was on his A game the entire evening and proved he was able to serve over 20 customers single handed while ensuring their enjoyment of their experience in his bar. The smoke was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was 10x’s better!!! It is without reservation that I give Hookah Bliss 5 stars all around for a great time. As you can probably tell I’ll be visiting this bar often.
