Hey guys, if you came to Desert Cafe in the past and were disappointed it would be well worth your while to come and gives another try. We have a new staff working, and they are awesome! The hookahs and hoses are cleaned after every use, no exception, and the store is meticulously cleaned every day. We have a wide variety of tobacco and innovative new flavors. We have themed parties every other Tuesday, and Rave parties every other Wednesday. Our DJ is amazing! So come give us a try! We promise Desert Cafe will be your new favorite hookah bar.

Ayy whats good, my name is Patrick and ni used to go to the "Egyptian Hookah bar" but there was too much drama and the environment was lame. i now kick it at the "Desert Cafe'" and i love it there. Sam has treated us really good. Anything we need and he will make it possible. i cant say that about the Egyptian. if i need a place where i can come just kick it and smoke good sheesha and other things, sam is there to do it. i recommend this place fo anybody that wants to have a good time. I love it. and i always bring ppl here to party and have a good time. so come smoke here you will not be be disappointed.

This place is off the hook it is way better then the rest of the hookah's in all of the Boise are its got tons of music you can bring your own music also you can bring movies and they have movies of there own in there movie/ xbox 360 room they have many games its pretty awesome come and chill and check the place out it is way huge it has an outside an inside the inside has an upstairs as well

the tabacco is the best here!! and the people are so nice!!!! i would recomend this to anyone who is looking to chill! with a huge group of firend
oh and there is no cover charge how cool is that!!

the lights are cool..and the environment is good....one of my friend who was regularly going there was diagnosed with cancer.... :( i think the tobacco is not good ..n they are carcinogenic ... :(

Omg.... Mean green obviously knows nothing about hookahs. The desert cafe uses inferior quality Egyptian hookahs. Plain and simple if u have done any selfresearch u would know that the average Egyptian hookahs are far from the best on the market. They fall short in my opinion to the Chinese models and superior brands like mya. The big plus is they're very cheap so most of the hookah bars use them. They rust and are hard to clean correctly but the desert cafe doesn't even try to clean them. I do agree on the rose water it is good but it's just a drop of rose oil in water. And coal does effect the flavor try a natural coal and you'll notice a difference. The tobacco they use is layalina which is very cheap and does not compare to say starbuzz or romman.

Plus the hookahs are bomb, and just fine.

Shisha kick ass, not very much selection, but hey whatev.

And the coal, seriously? Who cares if its quick start. People could really care less. It doesn't take the taste away.

Perfect place to chill, smoke, and have a great time.

ok this place has 2 great A+ features. Mark the owner is a way awesome guy and the atmosphere is the best of all the bars. Not a dance club its a sit down place with tons of plasma TVs and way kool lighting. Plus the outdoor thing awesome in the summer. Sadly this place has many faults. They use the worst cheapest tobacco on the market, they never wash their hookahs or hoses. "dont be surprised if u cough up some " sand" " and the worst is they use a terrible Japanese quicklight coal it is awful. Kills all the flavor. Love the atmosphere just can't smoke here.

best hookah bar in town. the owner is a great guy. the place isnt a dance club which is the way hookah bars are supposed to be.in the summer they have outdoor covered booths. they also have a awsome indoor lounge for the winter and VIP areas. if your looking for a place for your friends to just chill, smoke, and relax desert cafe is the place to go.

The experience at this bar was absolutely the worst hookah experience I've ever had. When we got there, we were handed a bowl to go stick on a hookah that was already sitting on the ground in another spot, seemingly one that that hadn't been cleaned any time that night. We sat down and put the bowl on. It took forever to get our coals. When we went to smoke, out of a hose that, like the hookah it was attached to, didn't seem to have been cleaned since the last customer used it, we weren't even given a plastic mouthtip for sanitation reasons.

The atmosphere was also terrible. Instead of being one big open area like the other bars in town, it's divided into several little sections that are walled off from each other. The music they played there was loud and terrible (at least for that atmosphere): TATU, that lesbian pop duo from Europe.

Nobody should go here, and it should be shut down by the health department.

I enjoyed this Hookah bar so much, that it has inspired me and my friends to open one in Blackfoot so I don't have to drive 4 hours just to smoke off the Hookah! Anyone think this would be a good idea, let me know!

This place is dope. go there at night they light up a fire and you can just chill and smoke some hookah

this is the best place to smoke hookah especially outdoor it is the place to go with your friends and have enoyable time and soon will be a restaurent too
