tom posted the exact same thing on yafa's page. probably some owner of another bar trying to ruin things. anyway, this is one of my favorite places to be and i wish i had time to go more often. can't really speak for the food except for fries and baklava (great) but the tobacco is great and they're attentive to the coals.
the best part about this place is the people. Music, dancing, and they are sure welcome newcomers. Also, the tv's always have fun music videos. I used to go twice a week for (arabic) homework help and brought some classmates who loved it. If you're trying something new, this is the place.

I don't know what crawled up Tom's butt and died... but Pyramid's is by far the most "authentic" place around. I've smoked hookah all over the world, and nothing has come closer to the feel of the Middle East as Pyramid's has. The sights, sounds, smells, and food are all AMAZING!! The owner is a crazy guy, and a personal friend of mine, and he will do whatever it takes to make sure you leave happy. If something isn't right, let him know. He wants his customers to be satisfied. That is the number 1 reason that I have been going there for years. Try it out, you WILL NOT be disappointed. They also have a Myspace page; www.myspace.com/pyramidscafe

I agree with the service part. The owner is probably the biggest asshole I have ever met. Customer service is like the biggest part of business. I mean his place would be packed every single day if he just treated people with respect. Also... the price of food as been going up like crazy. He'll be out of business soon if he keeps acting the way he does and the owner he smook w............................!

The cafe had a really nice atmosphere and the people were great!! the only thing i would say is that it took a while to get our food and the coals for the hookah, but I am asuming that was because we went on a friday and there were MANY people in there. I would most definately recommend it to anyone and I probably am going to return soon!

Ok! So i visited Pyramids Cafe for my first time last night, and I had the best time after so many weeks and months. My experience was really good and I loved the food and the way i was treated whne i walked into the CAFE. The hookah was great and I was treated like an imprtant person.

I had grape flavour and the owner was very friendly.

I will defenitly go back there and you so should other people.

Last Thursday night some friends of mine and I went to Pyramids Cafe.

The service we had was quite prompt; we were seated immediately, our food arrived sooner than any of us expected, and our hookah was being checked regularly.

The food that we had was simply amazing. Two of us had a gyro basket. The sandwich had plenty of meat in it and not an excess of cucumber sauce.

The hookah we smoked had a single hose for the two of us to use - our group was made of poor college students/grads so we split one. The Cafe doesn't use charcoal like I am accustomed to on my home hookah but either actual coal or wood coals. The coal was checked on by a member of the Cafe staff every 15 minutes or so.

The nice thing about the Cafe is that it has a very ethnic feel to it. They have Indian? music videos on TVs around the place and the walls are interestingly painted as well.

The only thing I didn't particularly like about it was the style of shisa that Pyramids uses is different than what I am accustomed to with the main difference being the intensity of the smoke. The shisha I typically smoke has a higher moisture content and results in a smoother draw.

There was also a slight mix-up on my bill... but not enough to bother me, just I was charged for the soda with the basket deal and I wound up paying for it again.

Overall it was a great time.

I was very impressed when I went to the Pyramid Cafe. Good food at a decent price, great and friendly service, and a good place to relax and people watch while enjoying a pipe. I highly recomend the place as I will deffinately be going back again.

My girlfriend and I went to the Pyramid Cafe today and we had a great time, the service was very good, and friendly. We even bought our own pipe there and got a very good deal on it, they were very helpful and honest in chosing the right pipe for us. we will definately be going there again with our friends soon.

I went to the Pyramid Cafe with some Arabic friends who wanted to introduce me to shisha.
We went on a weeknite when it was only a small crowd. The cafe is small and intimate and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the tobacco. I had strawberry and it was mild and mellow and sweet.
I also had the shish kebabs and they were very good too.
I would recomment the Pyramid Cafe for anyone looking to experience shisha.
