this is not a hookah bar. Wtf?

On January 12, 2007 I entered Nochee restaurant and bar around 12:55am. Upon arrival I removed my sweater and waited at what I thought it to be- coat check. A young short woman of Asian descent approached me and told me that no one was really watching the coats but she’ll hang my sweater if I like, I told her thank you and God Bless and then told her that when I leave I’ll have some singles and will leave her something nice, the young lady smiled at me, I headed to the restroom, then said hello to several people I knew met my homegirls on the dance floor and danced briefly then offered them a drink, bought four drinks left a nice tip and headed back to the dance floor, danced a bit longer when I was approached by the same woman who had checked my sweater, she told me I had to leave because of my outfit. Having a degree in communications I attempted to speak cordially to the woman but she did not want to hear what I had to say, (mind you she approached me in the middle of the dance floor while I was dancing), she told me she would refund my money but would not refund my money for the drink and did not want me to stay and finish it…I had to leave immediately. I’m still bewildered about why I wasn’t told about the dress code at the door, if there was one or at the coat check when she had ample opportunity to tell me and then to top it off, where was her tactfulness and professionalism when she felt the need to inform me that I was being kicked out in the middle of the dance floor with everyone watching?. I left he club and got in my car just after 1:30am, so I was in the club for half an hour before they decided my outfit was too much. Thanks Nochee for treating a damn good paying guest like sh*t.
