wow, great place. Leland the manager was so friendly and recomended some terrific mixtures, or interfusions as they are called at Ice. The flavors tasted great and i could def taste each individual flavor mixted into the mixture. As far as the design, i thought it was fine. Its nice to see something different from the typical middle eastern inspired hookah lounge. The plasma tv is a great feature and the music was awesome. Overall i was very impressed and can't believe people actually could complain about this place. I guess u can't make everyone happy. Its great a place like this is in Towson as a alternative to just hittin up the bars.

also, complaining about the gratuity for large parties is rediculous. i used be a host at a restaurant and the owner had to start adding gradtuity because people left terrible tips, even with great service. the owner was only tryin to help her employees. adding gratuity only helps the employees, not the owner. its a sign of an owner that cares about their employees

I think this place was great. I don't know what most of you are all complaining about. This was the first time I had been there and there was a line out the door. Obviously a lot of people agree with how I feel and def love this place. I was put on the waitlist and in 10 min was seated. The waitress was extremely friendly eventhough she was so busy. The shisha was also much better then what I had smoked in baltimore. The places downtown use nakhla, which sucks, and at ice they use al-waha and al-amir which is much better. I def tasted the flavors that were mixed and the waitress made great recommendations. No other places had mixtures like Ice had and most places don't even offer half the flavors that they serve at ice. I am def coming back. 6 of us smoked for about $50 incl tip. Its by far the cheapest place, with the best smoking experience.

This place was not that bad. As far as privacy goes... why do you need privacy? As far as food goes, eat before you go. They have snacks... not FOOD. Music is good. They play hip hop. Shi sha is very good. I had no problems. Very good service. Booths are comfortable. Got sports on a nice plasma tv on the wall. Was not high price.

They actually have double hookahs. Not many places have them.

I loved the juice bases. NOt many people have those.

Id go back to the place.

I've been here once and I thought it was nice.. pretty cool and fairly cheap. I've only been to two different hookah lounges and this one was def better than the other one I've been to (which let me and my friend in without checking id and we were underage at the time) The waitress when I went was extremely nice so it was def good service. I'm going again tomorrow night. So maybe I'll see how the other workers are there. It's just pretty easy since it's the only one in towson so you would have to travel through baltimore a bit to go to a different one. basically, I don't know why so many people are complaining about it.. it's not that bad.

place sux... seemed like u only got good service if u knew the waitress... owner was really cool in the beginning then got a major attitude when we asked why we were being charged for 3 ppl wen only 2 were smoking... he gave a real lame reason y, but we were just pissed on how he got an attitude really quick wen we were just asking a question, the mixes were wack, not worth the price and the music was really irritating

I stopped in here before and I have to say I am really not a fan. The set up is what made it damn near intolerable. All of the couches are lining the walls facing out into the middle of the room so there is no privacy whatsoever. If you're sitting on a couch you are forced to look at every jackass in there sitting around trying to look cool while being forced to listen to shitty house music. There is nothing to do in the way of entertainment (though now they have football on a plasma TV...exactly what I think of when I think "Hookah") and the food, if you can call it that, is piss poor. You have your choice of M&Ms or Skittles and a variety of sodas to choose from. It seems like a couple of guys who were way too into the rave scene back in the day got together and decided to open a poor-to-mediocre Hookah bar in a college town where they knew they could get away with that crap. Then again, if you were ever a big raver you'll probably love it. Take some X and smoke up.

this place freakin sucks..I went on my birthday which was yesterday.They had the worst service. they wouldn't put an extra hookah on the table because "they don't have enough hookah's for storage" im still trying to figure that out. Our bill came up to 90 for really nothing. the waitress added 5 other red bulls that i didnt order. the shisha was crappy. I have been to zeeba and it is far more better than this place. I think ice is trying to cater to the people who dont care, as long as they are smoking something. The place was small as hell. I will never go back to that place again. That was the worst bday hookah experience i have had. =(

I go to Ice maybe... once a month, once every two months? While they use a relatively boring, mid-grade shisha (Al Amir brand), it's certainly not one of the cheapest ones out there, but nothing as exciting as Fusion or Starbuzz, or as high-quality as Romman. The mixture of ice in the base is not, no matter what they say, unique. You can get the same at Tobacco Center Cafe on Joppa Road, or any of the other local hookah scenes. They use quick-light coals which, again, are pretty average, but don't add as much to the experiance as natural coconut, lemon or orangewood coals. Nothing terrible, nothing exciting. Service is average. My servers have been relatively attentive, friendly and professional, but I have to chase them down to settle the bill. The music is usually good, and the minimalist decorations and black-light atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. That, and the cute Towson girls, and the location between my usual bar and a billiards hall. They're food and drink selection is straight out of the local convenience store: bagged chips and canned sodas. Nothing exciting there.
ICE's hookah, shisha and coals are average at best. Service is random, but usually more than decent. Food and drinks are poor. Atmosphere is good, if you like that kind of thing. In the end though, the low prices make it all worthwhile.
End-result: Good place to make out, bad place to really enjoy a hookah.

Wow. You must be friends with the owner of this place talking about guys having sex and everything. Ive been to 2 others in the past week that ive never been to before. Zeeba lounge, and Huckas, both located in baltimore. Both are amazing. Their flavors actually taste like what they are supposed to taste luck, unlike ice who uses the cheapest shisha. Both of those places put ice in their hookahs, and you can make "interfusions". The only good thing about ice, is that its in towson, and theres plenty of girls. Speaking of girls, if the waitress actually did a good job of serving, i wouldnt have a problem with giving her a tip. But the service was horrible.

Maybe the two of you had a bad experience and didn't order well. Personally, I love their interfusions and they are better than the other lounges I've been to, which is a lot. There's no cover charge, they'll mix whatever you want, they throw in all this shit, and you two are bitching about 18% on a 3 person bill. What was that, like an extra few bucks for the waitress?? Next time, the two of you should save your money and just have sex in your room.

No No No JRoth, your mistaken. I actually went with Dave that last time, and it was 3 people. 3 of us got charged 18% gratuidy. That is outrageous. Their shisha is cheap, and everything tastes the same. They overcharge on everything, and it is not a relaxed enviornment. Also as Dave noted, we did feel rushed, and they werent very professional. That place needs to shape up or get out.

Maybe I'm used to the lounges in Chicago and NY that cost $10/person for a normal hookah, but calling them expensive is insane. At most lounges I've been to, you can't get any of the stuff you get at ice. Quad hookahs, juice & ice in the base, great variety of flavors and combinations. Smoke is never harsh, never makes you cough and tastes great. I don't know what Dave is talking about.

It definately was nice on their grand opening and was a bit overpriced for using the cheapest shisha.

They now are really expensive with their 18% gratuidy. Last time my friends and I went will be the last! Service was horrible we were rushed because they don't have adequate seating for 25+ I would never recommend this place to anyone EVER!

Best place Ive been to. Intrigueing infusion flavors with iced down juices instead of water, great refreshing taste. Cool simple atmospere and good bangfor you buck. Im definatly going back again.

This place just opened and is easily the best hookah lounge I've ever been to. It's one of the few places that doesn't copy the usual "mediterranean thing," and is set up more like a club with relaxed music and nice couches.

They have these awesome shisha mixes that also have juice mixed in the base. Plus, they always have ice mixed in the base no matter what you order and they don't charge extra for it like most places I've been.

Best prices I've seen, especially for what you get... easily the best hookah lounge in america...
