Unless you know the staff or are a girl with your boobs hanging out of your shirt you are almost ignored. Yeah, it's remodeled, new cushions, and better air circulation, but service slacks and their coals suck.

I stopped going to King Tut's a while ago, but then I happened to go last night with my friend and WOW!
First of all they remodeled the whole place and it looks amazing! Also, they are now using a different sheesha brand and it tastes fabulous. I have never had a better hookah in my LIFE!!!

If you haven't gone to King Tut lately, you are in for a pleasant surprise!!!!!!

Never smoked here. Just bought shisha and coals. I bought the coals and shisha thinking I was getting an awesome deal. Should've known it was too good to be true. The shisha is quite possible of the worst quality I've ever tried. I bought a box of 100 coals and they don't stay lit. Its terrible. What a waste.
The place looks pretty ghetto to be honest and the service sucks. People aren't very friendly.

how old do you have to be to smoke it ?

Tuts is a great hookah bar. Granted I've only been to a few of them, but the laid back atmosphere and nice staff makes it my favorite hookah joint that i've been to. Food is excelent but at this particuar time [june 2008] they're in the process or remodeling so there is not any food on the inside, but out on the patio there is still food available, and its TASTY. The staff might not be 'hot' like all of the other comments on this place, but they are knowledgable, friendly, and they actually smoke hookah too and help you out. I have never had a problem getting coals, and the service always gets to you. On a saturday night you shouldn't be expecting to get the best seat or be asked what you want within moments of getting there, its all about the experience. I give it 4 stars!

My first time goin was neat.. but after..not just me but all my friends felt really sick... dont get me wrong im not a fist timer...and either were the people i was with...

When I first started going there a couple years ago, it was great. Especially Friday nights. The hot/fun guys that worked there have all quit or been fired and the service really sucks now. The food is fantastic though! The hookah was ok, but it does take forever to get helped. You have to beg for coals and chase down someone who works there, which you can never tell.

MY first hooka experience was at this place. I've never been a smoker so smoking it for the first time was bananas...I kept coughing and coughing. We ordered strawberry and I couldnt taste the flavor at all. The staff just seem liked they didnt care but the one that served us our hooka was a hottie, thats why I enjoyed it.

i go to tuts cuz i knowso many people there. its a chill atmosphere. you can really do whatever you want. business is kinda slow but they do get really busy. that's a good thing though it means people like going. duh!! they not only play hip hop and rap but metal too and the heitage music to keep it a hookah cafe. they may hire white people but why can't they its a right to work state.

I refuse to go to Tuts anymore... I have been there several times and not once has the hookah tasted good. The service is horrible.

Saw a roach when we went to sit down, left there and never went back.

ive only been to king tuts one time and i didn't have a good experiance. it was busy so we had no room to sit. and when we did it took like 30 mins for anyone to take our hookah order. red sea and oasis are much better

king tut sucks now!! first off theyve become the 70's retro hippie town hookah place (no such thing , since its a mediteranean tradition), they have kids working for them (not 18 or over), and 99 % of the people are american, even the employment is now american there egyptian tradition is dieing by the day! The hookah is of the baddest quality, your smoking pure black Cooking Coals!(kills your lungs). I gotta say , king tut has been sucking each day , not worth the hookah raise.
