Just was there today really pricey it was like 32 for me and one friend to get one hookah however the quality was great and the staff were friendly enough, and the seats were comfy. Id recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good hookah bar. And If you get there earlier they don't card

Cozy Cafe is, by far, the finest hookah lounge I've ever been to. The owner and servers are among the nicest and most courteous I've come across in NYC. Long story short, you should definitely check out Cozy. Weekends have belly dancers, weeknights are perfect for a chill, relaxing study-break. I love the place, and you might also.

Cozy Cafe is a great place. I highly recommend you try it out. Besides the great hookah, Cozy has great food. I highly recommend the kofta and the lamb. Also, I really like the sangria. It doesn't taste just like pure juice; you can actually taste the wine in it. Cozy Cafe always has a great crowd, no matter what night of the week it is and there's also a outdoor patio in the back which is great when the weather is nice. Fun place to go if you are a local or just visiting the city.

this place sucks ASS, yea they dont ID but the hookahs are shitty aswell as the service..very uncomfortable and OVER PRICED!!! the atmosphere sucks and all they care about is whats in your wallet.

This place was really chill. Yeah the hookah was a little expensive, but hey, it's new york, what do you expect?
The service was really good, me and my friend got everything we ordered in good time. We didn't get "bombarded with the check" at all, the staff was VERY friendly, and the hookah tasted great.
Oh yeah, we got a free coal refil even though the menu does say it is $3.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the couches were kind of uncomfortable.

i spent 10 dollars on a cab to get to this place .. then i was told about the rule .. you have to buy a drink .. 1 per person. mandatory. so i got 3 waters. i ask about the base's for the hookah. and im told water is used and nothing else . i like fruit punch. my server was a dick. he didnt want anything to do with me . and when i saw him, al of his answers to my questions were negitive. and they werent unreasonable questions either. i didnt feel "cozy" i felt unsetteld and robbed by this asshole that gave me possibly one of the shittyest hookas ive ever taisted ..do not go to this hookah bar .. unles you like shitty service and dont know a thing about hookahs . or if you have the money to spend. 33 dollars for 3 ppl to smoke on one hookah . blow me cozy cafe. oh yea.. the only exept cash. and for all those that wonder. bring your kids the can smoke to .. cause they dont card for shit .. but you cant bring a soda from the out side in.

Everyone who is complaining that they ID for the hookah, grow up- you can't go buy cigs until ur 18 and hookah is flavored TOBACCO so why are you trippin? it's the law.

This place is awesome, the hookah is great. its affordable and the people are so nice and get you anything you need.. when walking up to the actual place it looks like a dump but once you get inside its really cool and very toned down so you can enjoy yourself to the max, also for those people looking for a place where kids can go this is the place they dont check ID. The hookah is 15$ but if you split that with a friend or two you'll still be fine, but they do make you buy drinks and the cheapest drink is water and soda and theyre each 3 or 4$ but if u get one or 2 and split them its not that bad i went with 6 people and our bill was around 55-65$ which is only about 9-10$ a person which isnt bad

I went there with my girlfriend and it was a nice place to go to. my girlfriend loved it and we will go there again.the only annoying thing about this place is that they ask you for ID like three times for beer but if you are older then 21 with a real ID you should be good. do not bring fake IDs to this place because i saw them cut up a fake ID to one of the other customers. Really nice place and they arent as much young people has mentioned in the other comments. i give this place a 4 stars out of 5.

mad young crowd, my frends and i started going there in middle school lol. i was probably 14 the first time i went. The service is mediocre at best, obviously they dont card which is cool, but then again ive never been carded for hookah. Its very crowded, and they do over charge. Honestly, if your of legal age (or you have an id that says your of legal age) i would recomend going somewhere less crowded, and a little more upscale. For example, i went there in maybe 10th grade, and i could almost swear i felt like i was the oldest one there, that was when i stopped going...i also got into "other" things...

Without no doubt this is the best hookah bar in the Lower East Side they charge for tax and service but it is well worth it the service is 5 star on my rating and the hookah's are cleaned every time they use it the owner is friend and always in a good mode the name says Cozy and trust me it is Cozy nice place to bring anyone from your girlfriend to your regular friends they have good music and nice plasma TV which match the music you are hearing (music video's) famblous DJ, you can request any type of music and they got it anything from spanish to arabic from hip hop to house and any other kinds of music you really will have a good time you wont regert it.

Their hookah's are not cheap! for those who think they are just to let anyone who doesnt know shisha or the tabacoo in the hookah cost about 6.00 or cheaper for a hookah shop for about 200G they can make about 10 or more bowls of hookah with is so they way over charge

Cool Place the couches suck and are really uncomfortable theyd be better off with floor cushins. the hookahs hit good a little cheap with their rules like you must buy at least 1 drink which cost over 5.00 otherwise pretty nice place and iv never been in a hookah bar where they card or ID you

This is a great hookah bar. As others have mentioned you can come under 18, they refill your coals for no extra charge. There is a very nice relaxed atmosphere. There is a wide variety of flavors. I highly recommend this Hookah Bar to anyone who wants a good hookah experience.

i have been there a couple of times with friends, they are friendly, and dont check id if ur not 18, its no big deal,the flavors are good and everyone there is realy chill and friendly, my only complaint is that they dont restrict people from taking pctures ith flash, these 4 girls weresitting across from us and wouldnt stop with the constant flash of theircamera, is blinding when ur trying 2 rla in the dim lighting

The service people are rude. they constantly nag you for your order, even if you tell them your not ready. You can see them 'spying' on you from across the room, waiting on you like a vulture, not a human being. Like dani below me said, they 'bombard' you with the check very quickly. and be wary of any overcharging they may try to pull on you. esp if you're/look younger. also, while the atmosphere may look 'cozy' i sure as hell dont find it to be. its crowded, its loud as fuck (often with hiphop music, the hell is up with that?), and they even make you sit on these retarded little stools sometimes.

I went there this past sat night for my friends birthday and we were extremly unhappy with the service there. Five minutes after they brought us our hookahs they bombarded us with the check. Then we kept getting yelled at that we had to be quiet and we could not get up and dance. Then after only being there for about 45 minutes they took our hookahs away and said if we wanted to stay we had to pay for more after they already charged us 150$. For that kind of money we deserved to be there for longer. I would not recomend this place to anyone.

A friend reccomended this place on Monday and five of us went. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is friendly. It really is cozy. So we went back last night and it was just as great. The one drink minimum isn't that big of a deal because the hookahs are priced $15 for a single flavor, $20 for a double or special flavor and $25 for the special hookah. On Monday they gave us a free special hookah and it was a pineapple with wine in the base. It was absolutely delicious

The atmosphere in this place is awesome, it gets so warm in there, and it feels great especially on a cold night. This hookah bar has a wide selections of flavors as well but, the bad news that there is a one drink minimum to smoke a hookah, and the cheapest drink there, water, is three dollars which if you add up to after a smoking session can cost a lot. One time I was there with nine friends and we got two hookahs and the bill came out to be 71 dollars after tax and tip which they include in the price. But it has an awesome atmosphere and nice selection, and if you're willing to spend a little its a great place.
