Ishtar, your place that so called Hookah bar sucks. I've tried it only twice and relized it was not a good place to hang out at. I wrote off my list forever ;) if you want your place be better, go to Habibi Cafe at Broadway, or Hookah House in Boulder, let them teach you how to make hookah and deal with customers. I am glad we have different hookah bars to hang out, otherwise I will be stuck in your god damn place, hhhhhhhhhhh

the place rocks my socks. love it, i go there every night. the hookah and tea are delicious. the staff is awesome. and i would challenge anyone to find a place with such a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

This hooka bar just brings a bunch of trouble and stupid kids to the area. A lot of them hang out in the parking lot and get drunk. The people at Ishtar can't control that. I hope Lakewood Police catch all the underage drinking in the parking lot. Why the hell do parents allow their kids to hang out inside a hooka bar anyways if they aren't 18? Talk about some horrible parenting.

I have been going to Ishtar almost every night lately and I have found myself completely in love with it. The music is fun, the environment is really chill and the people are the best ones I've met anywhere in Colorado. Flavors are great and the prices are spectacular. Mama and the rest of the staff are very friendly and really chill, they do check ID's and mark the hands of minors, making sure they don't smoke and do it in a friendly manner. 10 Stars.

JIM... We don't force you to get another hookah it is just every where 2 people in group has to order 1 hookah ... and we could go the other way which is charge per person so .. smoke one hookah and pay 13.00 dollars ?how would it feel Mr. JIM???

i've been here plenty of times.. it's pretty okay. it's not the best hookah though so quality is an issue. the prices are nice its just annoying how once you're done with a hookah you have to get another right away.. you can't just sit and chill. they press you to get more. another downer about this place is that you have to have atleast one for every two people. so if you bring an odd number, be prepared to buy an extra. AND they DON'T id check. i've NEVER been checked.. i've been asked if i was 18 and that was about it. i know plenty of underage kids that hang out there on a regular basis.

Once the lights go down they play a lot of music, hip hop, bellydancing music, techno, and electronica. The atmosphere is ok if you get a good seat, to get a good seat call ahead of time to reserve one or else you'll be sitting at a small table in small plastic chairs. The service is fine, they let you mix flavors, and they offer several types of flavors. It could be better if they added more varity of music and drinks ($1 for a can of soda), better seating arrangements. I get the feeling the owners just stopped trying to improve the place. If you're new to hookah bars this isn't a bad place to start, but not the best to keep going to.

Ishtar is a great place I would give it a 10 I have been going there since it has pretty much opened, it is always a great environment and I always have fun. Thank you very much and I hope you get the remodel done soon so we can start smoking again. Thank you very much for your service.

Nice place. The owners are really friendly, low prices, and they have fast service. The one thing i don't like is how they reserve tables. Why do they do that? It should just be first come first serve.

Court is right. My daughter and her friends go there all the time, they are all 16 - 17.(Without parents permission) I know of a 14 year old that has been there and tried the hookah. Lakewood Police needs to crack down on the underage kids that hang out there.

this place sucked bad! Everyone in there was underage, like by three and four years. The legal age is 18! The service was terrible. Too loud, to crowded and the music was way too loud. We will never go there again. The tobacco was very muted and cheap tasting. I give this bar a 3, because the price was good

Ishtar Moved. it was crazy. it moved closer to simms and colfax. it is huge!!! and tons of parking, the hookahs have great taste, the people who work there are very nice, all the customers there are really nice and welcome you. i try to go but i never have money. but it is only 6.50 per hookah. thank you so much ishtar.

being honest. The taste of Ishtar's hookah IS NOT good. That could be form the tobacco itself that they use or from lack of experince.

This is one of the most country places you'll find in the city. I've lived here all my life and Ishtar is full of amazing people. Mama is the best hostess, Julia is an energetic dancer and Mike is the coolest Security/ Entertainment official ever.

When I lived in CO I went to this hookah bar at least once a week. Most of the time I was there daily though. Its a chill atmosphere, you can just sit there with your friends and hangout. And like Garrett said, you can mix flavors...the watermelon peach is amazing!
