I started going to Marrakech about 5 years ago before they moved, right before going to hookah bars became a really trendy thing to do. I used to love it! It was an amazing place to hang out. The employees were nice, and the owners became personal friends. The music was great, the building might not have been the best but I kept comming back!

Sadly the place has changed. Along with moving locations the whole buisness has changed. It is no longer a fun place to hang out, in fact the owners dont even go in there anymore. The music is terrible and the customers look like they belong in a downtown club, or better yet some sort of underage strip club than a hookah bar.

Even worse, it seems this is the path many hookah bars in the area seem to be taking. There are one or two good ones left. If you like this sort of crowd then by all means enjoy yourself!! For the rest of you keep looking and youll find a good one!

This hookah bar used to be the shit. now its a piece of shit. its too expensive, the employees are rude, except for who i assume is the owner, he's pretty nice, anyway, you gotta tip before hand. That's the most ridiculous shit I've ever heard. Some stupid little white bitch tried that shit with me and i told her she's gotta earn that shit. i got kicked out >:( i hate that place and am never going back again. and i agree with Courtney, even if you ti[ before hand, they never come back with coals. FUCK YOU MARRAKECH EMPLOYEES, except for that one guy.

This hookah bar sucks...NEVER GO THERE!!!!

This hookah bar was horrible. I took 5 hits out of my hookah and felt like ass. I have smoked hookah over 5 years and when you order something there you dont get what you order then when you go and ask about it they say well its because your bowl is burned and they make you order another one. This hookah bar sucks all the people in it are wannabe gangsta's and dont know what true bangin is even about. Aly will steal your money from you so make sure you don't make any money transactions with her and so will jamal. Ohh and whenever you go in there it feels like kiddie land. They let in all the underage lil high school girls who sleep with them if they let them in. So this place is gonig under the table on everything and is a crooked business....I NEVE SUGGEST GOING HERE!!!!!!!!!!1

Marrakech 4 ever... The first Hookah Lounge on the state. I'm sorry that a lot of people don't like to see the others do good. And they want to talk a lot of shit that don't make any sense. I go there a few times a month and every time I have a good experience.

Marrakech is the first hookah bar in the state of Colorado, Ranked as the best hookah bar in the state by Westward and no one can match that. Alot of people tend to hate on the best as usual like Courtney who don’t know all hookah bars in Denver use the same tobacco and the same hookahs its not our fault that your cheap and don’t like to tip plus you should try and ask for coals next time. Oh! And Kasbah closed, because they where 100X better then us!!! Jill and Alex: don’t be so up set because you’ve been kicked out and not allowed back. Jungle: who are you? How would you know any thing about the owners? Your just a no body trying to get a rumor started, don’t be mad that we don’t allow under age girls in their you pervert!!!

oh, and instead you should go to Kasbah next door. It was 100x better. The guy there was so friendly and helpful, and the hookah and tea was delicious!

The guy that helped me and my two friends charged us $15 for the bowl. When we gave him that money he said it wasn't 15, which it was. Apparently, we had to tip before hand because he "can't keep running coals to us with no tip." I thought that one was to tip based on the service provided--not here. They screwed up our hookah order, and when we finally got it, it was alright for about 20 min and then barely survived for 10 min after that. Our waiter never ran coals for us.

Overall:

1. Too expensive
2. Rude service
3. Awful hookah

This place was alright till the employee knocked one of the hookahs on the ground and then told us it was our fault and made us pay for it. I will never be going back here. Plus 20 bucks for one bowl, fuck that. Way too expensive.

1. the Hookah is TOO EXPENSIVE and it lasts for about 20 minutes, in comparison to lasting for about 45 minutes.
2.when they got the new location, they became very SHREWED with their business, as if it's our fault that the new building is expensive.
3. they lost me as a customer permanently because of their SHREWDNESS.

I have been going here for about 5 yrs, The new location is more like a club, it's loud and fun,but the age rang is way young so for all of u college peps(like myself), may not want to chill here, because it's the high school hang out.

It is not actually that good. They moved to a new place but still their hookahs are too expensive and it is all guys and the girls are not that good looking. Plus it is mostly kids that go there. Plus it takes a long time to get a charcoal

While it is true that after the sun sets the music gets turned way up and it sort of takes on a club atmosphere, if you show up between 5 when they open and sometime around 8 you can enjoy you're hookah with light music and almost no crowd.

I use to go here all the time before i joined the army. The best spot for me and my friends to kick it and they never gave us shit about our age. Bill always treated us better than he needed to. I'll definately be hittin it up this july when i come home on mid-tour from afghanistan. Ill be wearing dog tags if ya see me say hi ;)

This is the best place. The ladies are crawling and the men, omg they r sooooo fine. It is a melting pot of different cultures and it is the most comfortable place to be. Make sure when u come that you wear comfortable sexy clothes to dance in and hopefully catch the eye of someone cute. I am a regular there and I would never go anywhere else. Come to the new huge opening, it is right next to the old one. The staff is family and the hokah is GREAT!

this hookah bar is the best in town. its all people from the younger age who like to dance and have fun. they're opening up a bigger place about 2 doors down in about a week, the new place is HUGE. and has decorations from syria. very authentic and spacy. anyone who like to smoke and have a good time should come here. they're open late, so its a good place to sober up after a drunk night. fuck all the other hookah bars

This fuckin hookah bar OMG its tha best for all u people who love to party and dance if u don't like loud music this aint tha place fo u. Go to alladin cafe if you don't like loud noise. And for all u guys go here if u wanna get laid it the best. Also tha hookah is tha shit

This hookah sukks... Im from Cali and the atmosphere here just sucked... I know a guy that will be opening one and he stated that he will be the best...and based on what he described, I BELIEVE HIM!!

The guys that own this place are expanding at the moment, and the new shop should be open in a few months. It is gonna be bigger and pretty awsome. They are designing it to look like a castle inside and out.

I visited Denver (i live in MO) for a week last month. I went here every night. Bill and the rest of the staff are awesome! I went with my friend Ryan who goes on a regular basis. THis is the best Hookah bar i've been to before. When i come to visit this spring, i'm going here for sure! Best Hookah ever, the music is great, and the atmosphere is perfectly inviting. Makes anyone feel at home. I'll definatey be going back!

Marrakech is one of my favorite hangouts. The staff are friendly, and if you go enough they will become personal friends. It tends to be more laid back during the week, but pretty much any night it is buisy. I highly reccomend it, and just so you knoe...Bill kicks ass!!

The Marrakech is without a doubt the best hookah bar in the Denver area. The staff is very friendly, the hookah's are without a doubt the best, and the groups of people are varied depending on what time you show up. If you are looking for more of a lounge/down-tempo experience I would recommend showing up close to when they open at 5 or so. As the night progresses it gets busier and the music gets louder and things seem to compound into a very high energy atmosphere. And as a side note Bill is a very nice guy, and without a doubt one of the reasons I keep coming back to the cafe.
