Ive been to Tarboosh several times. And this place is amazing. Matt, Wafik, Lorraine and all the others are very friendly. Its just a matter of getting to know them, once you do so Tarboosh becomes that much more fun. To all the people who bitch about them charging $3.00 per extra person. Are you serious, they have to make money. You have to pay for the experience, you cant really expect it to be dirt cheap. Me and 2 of my friends go there and dont spend over $20.00. I would recommend this place to anyone. And to whoever was saying there were roaches... I haven't seen what your talking about.

Tarboosh opens at 6 and closes at 1:30 on weekdays and weekends opens at 6 and closes 3 both are evening times

Aladdin's is SO much better; at Tarboosh all you're likely to find is a dirty restaurant and an over-crowded room in the back filled with under-aged wannabe hookah enthuisists. Aladdin's is cleaner (except for the bathroom), has friendlier guys, a larger assortment of flavors and GOOD $8 Hookah's on Sundays. . . Plus they mix most flavors.

I usually go to Alladin's, but some friends told me about Tarboosh, so I gave it a try. One word can be used to describe my experience...HORRID. The tobacco was cheap and burned quickly, the place was dirty and smelled like a gym locker room, the service was so bad I felt like I was at a truck stop diner. I do NOT recommend this place. I'll be back at Alladin's where the tobacco is fresh and the atmosphere is clean and friendly.

I actually really liked this place despite all the negative reviews. I've never had humus before i came here, and i don't think i ever will lol! VERY DIFFERENT! But the hookah was good, and the people were nice.

This place is great! The service is amazing, so are the people there. I've only been to this hookah bar and I have no intention on going anywhere else. This place is just a place to hang out and smoke your hookah; it's not as fancy as other places. And, I'm happy it's not. It's small and because of that everyone pretty much knows each other. The people are friendly and the people who work there are cool as shit!

I don't know what everyone is pissing and moaning about, I go to tarboosh all the time and their hookah's are clean and they do an excellent job with it all. I have only been to the tarboosh on 21st Ave. in Nashville, I can not speak for the one in Murfreesboro, I have never been there. As far as you idiots saying Aladdins is better, you can stay there, that is a hookah bar for sell outs who really don't understand the art of hookah you just do it cause it makes you "cool!" Aladdins is not true to the art and heritage of hookah. I mean they sale alcohol, really? That is bull shit! Aladdins is a bar not a hookah lounge. Tarboosh is the truth and Mack and Waffe do an excellent job with service and cleanliness! So piss off anyone who doesn't like it!

man this place stinks and is very hot... it took 45 mins for me to get my hookah the service is not the best.. you cant tell the employees from the customers.. waste of time and money

I have been to Tarboosh a few times, wasn't really a place where I wanted run back too. Overtime I have heard nothing but bad reviews from people and these reviews online. Aladdins is a pretty decent and have a good line of Food and Hookah

i have been around tarboosh has good food but bottom line is cheap is not good and good is not cheap.if you want a cheap hookah the grind or tarboosh is great but quality tobacco is the stuff that you smoke all night on one bowl. both tarboosh and the grind have variety but quality hands down is the $20 hookah at samiii's hookah. i was taught a good tattoo is not a cheap tattoo and a cheap tattoo is not a good tattoo, i can see no difference with tattoos and hookahs in that respect. you choose but for me samiii's has the best quality tobbaco i have found.

I go to Tarboosh on occasion but mostly for the food. The Hookah is expensive and it can take forever to get service. A much better deal can be found up the road at the Grind. They only charge five dollars and no charge for extra smokers.
Mezza was a great place, but they went out of business. One of the owners opened a new place called Sammiii's Hookah. I went there once and will NEVER go back again! It was filled with drunk frat guys laying around on the floor. The prices were completely outrageous. 20 dollars for a hookah that was no better than the cheap one I smoked around the block, and they have the balls to charge for each additional person.
I did see that Tarboosh has a new 5.99 special, and I think I'll check that out.

ahh only hookah place i been too. its pretty chill. sometimes it takes forever to get some damn coals but there usually pretty packed. other than that its Okay.

I went to tarboosh for the first time last weekend. Thought the exterior has a very grungy aesthetic, inside it is a very mellow and relaxing place. My friends and I got cherry and apple, and the tobacco seemed to be of good quality, all in all I thought it was a nice place, and will be back next weekend!

At first I didn't really like this place, but now I love it. I love the chill atmosphere and the people there. I always have a good time there.

Okay so im from chicago and we have amazing hookah bars here... i visite my uncles and aunts who live in goodsletville and i asked if they had hookah bars and my cousins took me to tarboosh as soon as i walked in i knew this place was going to be horrible, we sat down for about 20 minutes and i asked to leave!!!

I used to wait tables here back when it was a terrible, terrible place, but I just wanted to let people know it is under new management, which is the best thing that could have ever happened for it!
Because the cheap dirtbag manager is gone, money has been spent on renovation, and you will not be overcharged!
They also use al-Fakher tobacco now, which is a huge improvement.
If you went there before, I would like to apologize for the terrible time you probably had there, and I want you to know that I always wished there was something I could have done about it. Now something has been done, and I guarantee you will see the difference.

This place is disgusting and overpriced, we had multiple cockroaches crawl on our couch, and then they charge for the hookah plus $3 for everyone sitting at your table, even if there not smoking. Go to Aladin's on elliston right next to the exit inn, which is basically right next to it, indoors, clean, and much better prices
