This place is unique and no one compares. People complaint about the tobacco. The tobacco is fine, people just don't know how to smoke it right. 95% of the mixes of their flavors are more than great. This is what happens. Cheap asses come buy a bowl for six people and they wanna smoke it for an hour. It's just common sense they're gonna burn fast!! The service is good. After visiting a few times you get the feel of who's good. There's this cute tall thin girl who is just awsome. But considering that they have like 100 tables, they handle their service. Ambiance?? Pshhh, no one can complaint about that. The eye candy is perfect for Men as for women. Gotta speak the truth, the place is full with beautiful people of all types and races. Yes, some can argue you can get that in Westwood. Westwood charges a cover for just sitting down. At The Spot with ur hookah and a tea ur good. But I would recommend there a la carte plates. They're suculent dilicious. Over the place is awsome. They close when everyone leaves. So you don't have to worry about being in a rush. I haven't found a place that comes close to it.

I have never been to the spot. I discovered it last week Thursday after my Farsi class. It sounded like people were having tons of fun, and it seems to me- like the place to be. I guess I will go there tomorrow, and return on friday with my comment(s).

A great collection of people at the Spot, all ages, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian all chilling together. I love that guy in the hat and trenchcoat who does tarot card readings on Monday nights, best $20 I ever spent. The owner and his brother and sister are great people, too...

this place by far is the place to chill. me and my girl almost every other sunday night drive all the way from san diego to the spot.thier staff always really take of us and hookah is not bad at all. one thing i didnt understand was that they dont serve mint flavor for some reason . i happen to be mint flavor smoker and that bothers me . other than that the management and staff are cool and their service fast and reliable .comparing the spot to san diego hookah bars that look more like freaken dumpsters, is by far the best place . thanks

ok lets get this straight...the hookah is really bad quality...really bad. the service is ok (depending on how busy they are) and the owners are nice (but bloodsucking so don't do business with them i hear). the food on the other hand is really good! the atmosphere is very interesting. there is a long aisle to the spot and it seems as though this is the runway. girls dressed as if they're going clubbing walk through this runway strutting their stuff while guys sitting at the side tables smoking hookah check them out and throw up perverted comments which most of these girls...actually take as complements (yikes). the music is pretty good...they go from persian to hip hop to arabic and they play recent songs a lot... but it gets a little loud sometimes

So the Spot is pretty chill, because they have really good quality hookah and great flavors, with great service. Their waiters/waitresses are attentive and friendly. The only annoying thing is the wait on weekend nights, which I was lucky to bypass since my good friend has connections with the servers so I didn't stand in line. Their food tastes good too, and the music they play is chill.

the spot is chill to kick it but its hell to work there.as a ex employee all they do is take advantage of u till ur useless.ive even drank with them while i was working.if the health department went to check it out they would be shut down trust me.they store the food next to the bathrooms.almost everyone that works there does drugs and they even have fuckingg beaners working there with out papers.a lady died there once on a rainy day cuz they dnt take safety precautions.Think Im lying just ask art.

The Spot is by far one of the best hookah bars out there. I have been to all the hookah bars/lounges from coast to coast.. even in Dubai, and I must say that they are amazing. They're food is hella good, service is AWESOME, and the owners are hella nice and always give great service to their customers. yah, there are hella persians, but LA is full of middle easterns especially persians. And that is noTTT by any means a bad thing. THey're hella pretty!
and if the service is bad why has every comment said that there is always a 30-40 minute wait..

Spot is by far the place to be when it comes to hooka! Always packed, they got so many cust. thats why they can't keep up when it comes to service, fine ladies all the time! This place always has a line in the front always! If you want a live crowd this is the place to be if you wanna be alone n quite forget it not your place! one thing the music needs to be changed same song for the past 5 years!

The Spot is by far the best hookah lounge to go to in the entire... LA COUNTY! ive been to every popular place (ie. Hookah Lounge, Hypnotic, Cafe O, Gitanas, Habibi Cafe, Gypsy Cafe, Eden Garden Cafe, Equator, Paradise/Atlantis) and the Spot is eons ahead of the competition.

The Spot focuses heavily on service and good hookah. They probably have a staff of well over 50 people! They have a waiter/waitress for every 5-6 tables... and we all know that's hard to come by in any typical hookah lounge.

Right when you feel like your coals need changing, theres a coal guy getting ready to change it... and they have so many of them that everytime your coals get changed its a different person changing it.

The only "bad" thing i can possibly say about The Spot is that Thursdays through Saturday, if you come anytime between 9:20 and 11:30ish, you can expect to wait at least 30-40 minutes before being seated. they're busy practically every night.

oh and i was there yesterday, they just got new menus and chairs. all the better!

the spot got hoes, from different area codes (musical theme). Thats pretty much it, flooded with women that love to give it up. Never take a date there, too much potential.
